The Ann Craig Duo (Ann Craig & Kevin Blazé) have performed for many years at venues and at various festivals but we’ve always loved Port Fairy. Their flute and guitar style has been compared to the Australian Jazz Legends, Don Burrows and George Golla, offering Ann & Kevin plenty of repertoire to work from. Our sets feature the seductive combination of flute and guitar playing music from Bolling to Burrows, Jobim to Monk, Lennon/McCartney and more, a sophisticated mix of contemporary jazz standards, and popular music revoiced for chamber jazz. And of course, there is always an appropriate amount of playful banter between us and our audience.
