What happens when you bring together Schmoe & Co, one of South Australia's longest running and highly distinguished jazz groups, the very swinging Whatever We Wish Quartet, South West Victoria's very own hard boppers - and then invite a New York Drummer who has played with Wayne Shorter, Aretha Franklin and Bobby McFerrin to act as a human metronome? We'll find out with some special performances at the festival. It will be double trouble with the two tenors saxes of Sylvan Elhay and nephew André Elhay, Port Fairy's very own Gavin Franklin on piano, SA Music Hall of Fame recipient Geoff Kluke on bass, Bruce Millar from sunny Talbot in Central Victoria also on double bass, and, travelling all the way from New York just for this festival - Mr Dave Meade on drums.
