Since 2011, Ann Craig and Kevin Blazé have been organising monthly open mic events at various venues across Melbourne. They have also hosted an ‘Open Mic’ event at every Port Fairy Jazz Festival, and the committee considers it to be ‘an essential part of our festival.’

‘Open Mic’ will be backed by the House Cats so, if you’ve toyed with the idea of singing or playing with a band, here’s your chance. And, of course, finalists for the John Huf Award are invited to participate.
