Jane Little has loved Billie Holiday since she was a young singer in the jazz scene, while performing here and in the U.S. Little Holiday showcases the tunes Billie recorded in the ‘Capitol years’ along with some other gems from her extensive songbook. Supported by some of Melbourne’s most talented jazz musicians, Jane tells the audience interesting anecdotes from Billie’s challenging and colourful life. Little Holiday performs their version of the tunes that made Billie the legendary icon she still is today. With a new brass section, Little Holiday looks forward to presenting its new lineup and catalogue at festivals, wineries, jazz clubs and at private & corporate functions.
